Fresh off Q1, our fruitful franchise is building an impressive momentum, from industry recognitions and flourishing growth, to new additions to our executive team.

 

We’re thrilled to announce that Cheikh Mboup, President of Edible® Brands, has been accepted into the Forbes Business Council, the foremost growth and networking organization for successful business owners and leaders worldwide.

Cheikh was vetted and selected by a review committee based on the depth and diversity of his experience in retail, franchising and economics. Criteria for acceptance includes a track record of successfully impacting business growth metrics, as well as personal and professional achievements and honors.

In tandem with Mboup’s momentous recognition, our team added 23 new signed agreements since the start of the year. In March alone, five new operators signed on to expand our beloved brand across Chicago; Charlotte; Lexington, Kentucky; Suffolk, Virginia; and McDonough, Georgia.

 

Additionally, we’re further developing our leadership team as we welcomed Heather Schlesinger as the new Vice President of Marketing. Schlesinger brings a well-respected reputation as a recent recipient of the Georgia Titan 100 award, which recognizes Georgia’s Top 100 CEO & C-level executives.
