It all started with a flower shop in East Haven, CT in 1985, when Tariq Farid purchased his first business. Young, hungry (pun intended) and looking for a way to differentiate his shop, it was there that the flower-style arrangements made completely of fresh fruit were introduced to the world. Little did Tariq imagine that one day there would be over 1,000 Edible shops across North America.
As we look towards the future, it’s time to reimagine the business for a new generation. Under the leadership of Somia Farid Silber, we invite you to join Edible 2.0—a fresh, festive and fruitful (we really like puns) approach to celebrating all of life’s sweet moments.
